Stretchy wind-resistant fabric on the chest and shoulders keeps the core shielded from chilly breezes whilst the variable weight panels used elsewhere maximise insulation and minimise bulk by trapping within them.

Long sleeves integrate well with gloves without leaving any exposed skin and the extended rear keeps road spray at bay in the wet. The two large rear pockets make it easier to stash a waterproof away when not needed, and extensive reflective panels improve nighttime visibility.
